Strong as never seen before. The massive frame is a rigid bolted construction, stress relieved and machined on first class CNC long bed milling machines. The rolls are made of high quality forged steel, induction tempered and hardened to 55 HRC. The power is given by strong planetary gear boxes and hydraulic motors that are coupled directly on rolls to avoid secondary transmissions. The rolls paralleiism is assured by a sophisticated electronic system that makes the rolls positioning quick and accurate to 0.05mm from side to side. The geometry is deaigned to increase the machine stability during the heavy process of thick plares deformation and it is though to be as low as possible in order to save money when it comes to dig a pit to seat it on.
